In collaboration with the U.S. Marine Corps, you are invited to participate in the second VA Palo Alto Health Care System Marine Corps Muster. This event is a collaboration of the U.S. Marine Corps with VA to ensure local Marine reservists are enrolled for VA services prior to their discharge, helping to provide a smooth transition to civilian life with the VA support in which they are entitled. Over 1,000 people and 70 vendors attended the 2012 Muster, making it one of the most successful events of its kind.
Information and services available at the Muster will include:
- Health Care Services
- Benefits including education (G.I. Bill), home loans and disability compensation
- Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), onsite employment and education community providers, and more
The Marine Corps Muster will take place at the following date and location:
Date: Saturday, February 8, 2014
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: VA Palo Alto Health Care System
3801 Miranda Ave
Palo Alto, CA 94304
If you are a U.S. Marine reservist and wish to expedite your registration for this event, please
apply for your VA Health benefits or update your information. Veterans living within a 150-mile radius are invited.
If you would like to volunteer at the event, please complete the Volunteer Application Form and send it to William Ball, Chief, Voluntary Service (135).
If you are an organization looking to participate in the event, please register.
Your organization will be provided a table, chairs and tent space for your convenience. Your organization will also be shown in a directory of vendor information, which will be provided to participants. (The information you provide us on your application will be used for the directory.) As space is limited, all vendor applications will be reviewed by the Marine Corps Muster Committee for appropriateness and inclusion. Vendors will be notified by e-mail response that their application has been accepted.
