Modesto Clinic

No current construction at this location.

VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) began its presence in Modesto in 1998 with a Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) that offered primary and mental health care. The original clinic occupied two floors of a multi-tenant facility. Due to a substantial increase in Veterans utilizing services in Modesto, VAPAHCS greatly enhanced its presence in the community through the recent lease of a new facility. The new CBOC expanded the primary and mental healthcare capacity, while adding physical and occupational therapy and radiology. The new CBOC has excellent visibility from major public roadways, and the single-story facility will improve efficiency, continuity between departments, and way-finding.

Key project facts include the following:

  • VAPAHCS expanded the Modesto CBOC from approximately 10,000 Gross Square Feet (GSF) to 23,250 GSF
  • Modesto CBOC expansion increased treatment capacity for Veterans in Stanislaus County
  • Construction completed in February 2013
