VA Palo Alto Health Care System
Construction in Palo Alto
VA Palo Alto Flooring and Restroom Renovation Update
In February 2020, the VA Palo Alto Health Care System will commence a construction project to replace all wall and floor tiles in the public areas and restrooms of Bldg. 100 and 101. The project will occur in phases and is expected to take up to 18 months to finish. During this construction period, access to certain areas will be limited.
The first phase will begin Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at the Building 101 side entrance near Parking Garage P-1. There will be no access to the entrance area and the multi-stall men’s and women’s restrooms across the auditorium/rotunda. Please avoid this entrance. The rear entrance to Building 101 at the Chapel will remain open for passage. Alternate routes will be posted.
For questions regarding this project, please contact Diana Soriano at Diana.Soriano@va.gov or call (650) 493-5000 ext. 68123.
The VA Palo Alto Health Care System is fortunate to have an unprecedented amount of construction that will create beautiful new facilities in which to serve our Veterans and enable our staff to provide the highest level of service possible.
From dealing with parking changes to detours in your walking routes, we thank you for your patience while we upgrade our facilities. In addition, we want to thank our staff for their assistance in participating in our off-site parking lot that has allowed us to make way for new construction.
