Optometry Service
Welcome to the Optometry Service at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Our service is comprised of VA residency trained optometrists, health technicians, and administrative staff. It is a privilege for us to provide the nation’s Veterans with the most current and up-to-date services in Optometric care. We see patients in Palo Alto, Monterey, San Jose, Menlo Park, and Livermore.
What we do
Optometry at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to provide comprehensive eye examinations that includes the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disorders, ocular diseases, and ocular manifestations of systemic diseases. Optometry also offers visual rehabilitation services for patients who have lost significant vision or have visual impairment secondary to brain injuries. Additionally, we provide examinations for prescription eye glasses and medical contact lenses.
