What we do
Vascular physicians and surgeons specialize in:
- Carotid artery disease angioplasty/stenting

- Medical management of peripheral artery disease

If you have been referred to be seen by a Vascular Specialist, one or more vascular ultrasounds, CT scans, and other imaging studies must be completed prior to appointment for most patients.
A consult from your primary care doctor is required to schedule a clinic appointment.
To schedule an appointment with your primary care doctor, please call the Telephone Care Program at (800) 455-0057 and select option 3.
Vascular direct line: (650) 852-3451
*Please note: If a year has passed since the patient was last seen by a Vascular Specialist, a new consult from their primary care doctor is needed.
Most ultrasounds may be completed in Palo Alto, Livermore, and Monterey; however, ABIs/Waveform/Seg. Press/Exercise can only be completed in Palo Alto. In addition, if your ultrasound requires fasting, you must fast at least six hours prior to your appointment, but please do not stop taking medication.
